Ensures delivery of day-to-day levels of service excellence in their area of assignment which may include any of the inpatient and outpatient areas, sterilization department, and the operating rooms.
Knows service standards and ensures they are consistently met.
Proactively assists the Nurse Manager in meeting the goals and objectives of the nursing department.
Ensures the delivery of international nursing standards of care in accordance with established International/National practices, such as the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN).
Understands the accreditation process and is compliant with SMC policies, procedures, and clinical protocols.
Provides age-appropriate patient care.
Promotes the image and reputation of the SMC by effective interpersonal skills and sound communication skills to create and maintain the SMC brand.
Reads, understands, and signs that they have read and understood the SMC nursing policies, procedures, and protocols.
Follows evidence based best practice for infection control.
Assists with serious incident investigations as required.
Attends all mandatory training for their roles.
Ensures that quality standards of nursing documentation are maintained according to organizational policy
